Before installing the PCI-7744 motion control
card, be sure to shut down the computer. Also be sure to take steps to ensure
against static discharge when handling the card and working inside the computer.
- Refer to the installation documentation that
accompanies the card.
- Open the computer case and insert the card in
a empty PCI slot. Be sure to secure the card to the case.
- Restart the computer. The card should be
detected by the operating system and the drivers properly configured.
- If the card is not recognized, shut down and
reinsert the card again as above.
