NOTE--in general it is necessary and desirable to
follow these steps in the order listed to insure that the system functions
properly. In some cases, bypassing steps that have been sucessfully completed
as part of a previous setup is fine. The detailed instructions provide
cautions where skipping steps may be unwise.
Similarly, certain steps may need to be repeated
during a setup session depending on the nature of the system.
